A Quick Work History

1. Webbed Feat - 1995 marked a career change for me. I took a leave from university administration to complete a graduate degree, and that led me to many projects related to teaching and learning online. I've worn many hats! ...student, researcher, instructor, software designer, community steward, administrator, instructional designer, course management site administrator, curriculum developer, project manager...  In 1998 I launched my company, Webbed Feat, and moved to Lac Le Jeune where I have worked from my home office ever since. I also commuted a few days per week for 5 years to Nicola Valley Institute of Technology in Merritt where I was hired as interim Registrar, but quickly moved to a faculty position in educational technology.

2. BCcampus - I was part of the Professional Learning Team from 2008 - 2019 participating in a variety of roles and projects. I facilitated professional development events and communities of practice for post-secondary faculty and staff interested in advancing their teaching practices. Over the years I stewarded and supported leaders of several communities of practice. I was also involved in the development and implementation of several province-wide initiatives, including the Facilitating Learning Online Family of Courses, the Learn Together Collaboratory, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Collaborative.

3. Being With Dogs - Working with dogs is a lifelong passion, and so is educating caregivers about building an excellent relationship with companion animals.
